Louise Clifford
Louise Clifford on leaving university with a BA (Hons) in Communication, decided to learn from the grass roots rather than assuming she’d learnt it all from the master. She started her PR career as an in-house PR Manager for a health and beauty technology company. Her work there was mainly media relations and she soon built up a host of media contacts; conversely what she had needed to develop were the features level journalists because the editors she already knew.
A freelance health account led her to working at Max Clifford Associates where she still works today. Louise has worked on a wide variety of accounts from the spheres of business, entertainment and health/beauty. Business clients include Gerald Ratner during his ‘crap’ recovery, Victor Chandler’s poker UK launch and Emma Harrison’s launch onto TV’s ‘Make Me a Million’. She helped launch The Body Beautiful Show, Alex Karidis and Gillian McKeith. The client list has always been eclectic, ranging from Fulham Ladies football team to private jet company Club 328.
